Random pic Sunday- a little peace

Sometimes after a long week - chaotic days I

look towards mother nature for a little bit of 

peace.   If I take this picture and put it on my

desktop (pretend the tv, computers, video games

aren't going in the background) I can find a few

minutes of peace at the end of a day.

Enjoy your evening before the Monday morning grind 

begins all over again...

Why paranormal?

I'm often asked "Why paranormal?"  My favorite answer

is because there are no 'written in stone' rules.  For the

most part my characters come right out of my imagination

and because of that I can have them do just about

anything I want. 

This morning (just before dawn) I found a better

way to explain why ...

I can take something that seems to be fairly normal

and turn it into something more.

Do you see the face in the sky?

When I saw that face I could only wonder what

it was bringing ...

As it turned out it brought much needed rain 

to my little town where our grass is brown and

sounds like rice krispies when you walk on it.

It's still raining and it is a very welcome thing as

we've only gotten a few minutes of rain all summer!

I wasn't exaggerating about the brown grass!

Here's wishing everyone gets the perfect weather

they want for this long weekend (in Canada)!

Somehow in my busy world I missed almost an
entire week before it dawned on me that it was
Sunday again.  I will try to post a little more often.


I took a few pictures of the receding winter.  

It hasn't quite left yet but spring is trying very hard

to force it to go.

And this is me doing the happy dance.

I can't wait for winter to go away!!!

This is actually the reflection in the water.

Our Golden Retriever almost found herself

that knows I love big cats.

for example....

This is the love seat in my office or what`s left of it

if you sit between the big kitties!

If I thought I could get away with it (and they 

wouldn`t eat my dog) those would all be

very real.

I was checking out the sepia setting on my phone (which I didn't even know it had)

and this is what I came up with.

According to my son it looks like a picture from the "old days" ...

If you take out the newspaper boxes, dumpster, hydro poles and yield sign

it could have been from the ol' days.

Blurry pics that work!

Might have been driving a little fast when this was taken -

completely missed what I was aiming for, but the blurred 

tree turned out just fine.

I was wrong.
