Dreams is now available!

The Kindle version of Dreams is now up on Amazon.
The Print will be available in a few weeks (or sooner).

I'm so excited to have all three stories from A Dream
inside one cover.  After the first two, it felt like the
story wasn't complete, so the third story After the
Dream had to be written.

I'm taking a short three day holiday for a much needed rest after the summer madness and writing craze.  I'll be back on Monday and then I'll be giving away an e-copy of Dreams here on the blog.

A Dream series - three steamy tales of romance, suspense with unexpected paranormal flares

IN OUR DREAM:  She’s a small town cop.  He’s an inmate undercover.  They meet in a dream.

FROM A DREAM: She wakes up in a dark hole, alone.  He’ll stop at nothing to find her.

Brody believes he’s a normal man.  Tess has felt like a freak most of her life- except when she’s around one man.

New Cover!

You may have noticed that a few of my covers along
the right side of my blog have "Only available until July 31st" underneath them now
 - the reason is the contract terms end for those on that date.
So if you want to get them as a single story you better follow the link attached to the covers
and do it soon.

Otherwise in September In Our Dream along with From A Dream
will be released together with the third and final story in the series
 After the Dream.
I've just gotten the cover mockup for this release today and I love it.
This was made by Jared from Off The Wall Creation

I'll have more information about the release in the next month
along with new contest information.

News about A Dream

I didn't follow my own schedule of slowing down and
taking it easy for the summer to give my brain a bit of
a rest.
As a result of doing this though I have news!

The two part story series I wrote a few years ago
In Our Dream and From A Dream (oddly enough
I titled the series A Dream...) that were published at
Amira Press are only going to be available as
separate stories until July 31st.

After this, they will no longer be at Amira Press
and you will have to wait to read them when they
are released in print in the fall (at least this is the tentative
date I'm aiming for).   Reviewers and Readers alike
wanted to see more of the characters in this series
so I've decided to put both
parts as well as the unpublished third and
final piece of the series into one book!!

More news...

Also only available until July 31st is Behind the Mask.
It will be back as well (I'm aiming for Hallowe'en on this
one as it is a Hallowe'en tale) along with a second
previously unpublished story-  This Ring, that is presently
undergoing the heavy edit phase of writing.

I'm so excited having these all coming out so close
together.

There's still more ...

Presently awaiting release dates (and gobs of editing
rounds) are:

Book II in the Hidden Senses Trilogy - Dream Visions

Book I in the Animal Trilogy - Animal Heart

The Magic Seasons series -
Book I  From Beltane Magic (previously released as
Beltane Magic)
Book II The Solstice Heat (previously released as
Solstice Heat)
Book III Harvest Dreams

Waiting in my editing pile is:

After the Silence

An Autumn Dance

And finally in my writing file awaiting
completion:

The Witch Descends

Inner Reflections

Good thing I decided to take it easy for a while...

I have some guests coming up on the blog
stop by on Friday July 8th for David M Brown.

Excerpt Thursday - Twice Cursed and In Our Dream

I thought I'd do another two this week
Here's a short one from Twice Cursed which
was released yesterday.

Maddy sighed and closed the book. She stood there debating on whether to go out and tell Colin help was on the way, or to sit here and try to figure it out more before Ginger got here. Colin came bolting into the room.
“A woman just came out of your tree!” He looked over his shoulder and then back to her.
Maddy grimaced. She probably should have warned him about that too. “She’s come to help figure this out.”
He turned and watched as the woman reached the house. “And popping out of trees is okay?”
Maddy glanced behind him to see Ginger coming in. “Uh, yeah.” Colin turned and backed up to the desk, then perched on the edge of it.
Ginger came in the room and stopped short, looking at the man leaning on the desk. “Oh, I hadn’t thought to ask if it was a man from our community, but I see by the look on his face he’s not.”
Colin shook his head. “Lady, I don’t even think we’re from the same planet.”

AND
One from In Our Dream

The nerve of that man!  Why won’t he just accept things and go away?  She paced back and forth, trying to control the frustration that was pumping through her.  Every time she saw him,  every hurt moment came flooding back to her and she just wanted him gone.  She wanted to move on and live her own life and try her damndest to be happy!

“Jennah?”

She spun around, expecting someone to be behind her. There was no one there.  Was that Dominic’s voice?  Oh no, she was hallucinating now!  Should she call her doctor?  Maybe the stress had finally caught up to her.  Was she going to end up spending her holidays alone in the psych ward?

“Jennah, why are you so upset?”

She squeezed her eyes shut.  I am not hearing voices! I am not losing my mind!

She heard his deep chuckle.  “No, you’re not losing your mind.  This is really happening.  I should have told you, but in our dream...it’s not really a dream. We’re connecting.”

Her eyes flew open.  What?  “What?”  She stood perfectly still, waiting to see if she could hear him again.

“I can explain it better later. I just picked up on how upset you were...”

She squinted.  “Picked up?  How?  How are you inside my head when I’m completely awake? How can we talk inside my head?”

She heard him chuckle again.  “Inside mine, as well.  I don’t have time right now. Are you all right?”

She laughed out loud, not knowing if he would hear it in her head too. “Clearly not!  I’m talking to a man from my dream inside my head while I’m wide awake standing in the locker room at work!”

“Jennah...”
